In these unprecedented times, keep your habits, keep your routine.
We believe pledging is an important Christian spiritual practice, enabling us to grow intentionally in gratitude and generosity in every part of our lives. Giving generously is about caring for all the parts of Creation that God has entrusted into the care of humankind. God’s relationship with humankind is about God’s great love for humans such that he gave his only son, Jesus Christ, as our Savior and prime example of how to love our neighbors as we love ourselves and as Jesus loves us.
Stewardship is about developing holy habits around caring for and sharing God’s Creation with our fellow humans and other creatures. The more more we give regularly with open hands and open hearts—the more joy we have and the more our fellow earthly beings enjoy their presence in God’s Creation. Ultimately, when we contribute money to the work of the church or to the work of helping others in community organizations, we are living into God’s invitation to be a trustee of all that is Good in God’s Creation.
